Palmetto Freight Lines scales from 8 to 20 trucks without hiring an office

Challenge

Palmetto's owner was personally handling dispatch for 8 trucks. He knew that adding more trucks meant either hiring an office team or burning out trying to do it all himself.

Solution

Fleeter took over full dispatch and back-office support, scaling coverage as Palmetto added trucks. Later, we helped recruit and train two in-house dispatchers once the fleet grew large enough to justify them.

Results

Palmetto grew from 8 to 20 trucks over 18 months. The owner never hired an office team during the highest-growth period, and reclaimed roughly 25 hours a week he'd previously spent on dispatch and paperwork.
